
About me
Amy is a multi-passionate yoga instructor and mother of two. Amy has been teaching yoga for 10 years, first in Edinburgh where she completed her 200hr teacher training, and then in Dumfries and Galloway where she moved the following year to be with her partner and start a family.
Amy brings together hundreds of hours of teaching experience and training in Forrest Yoga, core vinyasa yoga, pregnancy and postnatal yoga, and arm balances & inversions. Amy’s classes could best be described as energising and empowering. Her greatest joy is helping people of all ages, body types and experience levels discover how strong they really are.
Amy’s mission is to make yoga more accessible for everyone she teaches. She does this by carefully breaking down poses and using clear, simple, anatomy-informed language to help students discover and embody the practice of yoga for themselves, at their own pace.
